Internationally Focused Nonprofit

Remote - Anywhere in the United States

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience

Terrific remote Director of Technology position with an internationally focused nonprofit. The Director of Technology will serve as a hands on technical leader that will work to improve platforms and provide relevant data to staff, donors, and other relevant stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a builder while also providing leadership to one direct report and a consultant.

Responsibilities:

Provide ownership over the health and architecture of digital platforms

Maintain and build new features utilizing PHP, React, and WordPress

Ensure that the technology serves those supporting the mission as well as those working for the organization

Own the organization's data architecture and translate data into information for donors and staff

Integrate AI and ML in ways that serve the organization's mission

Oversee the Salesforce consultant and the full stack engineer

Qualifications:

6+ years of relevant software development experience including time leading teams or projects

Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience in a nonprofit, international development or WASH setting is a plus

Demonstrated experience using PHP, JavaScript, and React, experience with WordPress and Salesforce a plus

Experience applying AI and ML to production

Ability to work in a remote setting with a geographically dispersed team
