Donor Stewardship Coordinator

DOOR International is a global Christian non-profit who wants to see Jesus transform every Deaf person and community through a relationship with Him. To that end, our mission is to grow and equip Deaf leaders worldwide in evangelism, discipleship, sign language Bible translation, and scripture engagement. 

We are seeking a driven Donor Stewardship Coordinator to join our Advancement Team. The Donor Stewardship Coordinator helps create an excellent donor experience through timely communication, accurate reporting, and strong administrative support. This role coordinates stewardship for foundations and major donors, supports donor recognition efforts, and helps Development Officers stay organized and responsive.

This position helps ensure donor records, reports, and follow-up actions are handled with excellence. Alignment with DOOR's Statement of Faith is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate stewardship reports and donor deliverables for foundations and major donors
  


• Maintain reporting calendars, deadlines, and supporting documentation
  


• Gather program and financial information to prepare donor-facing reports and updates
  


• Support Development Officers with scheduling, meeting preparation, follow-up communication, and CRM updates
  


• Assist with proposals, donor briefings, and portfolio materials
  


• Help support donor recognition efforts and recognition societies
  


• Coordinate logistics for stewardship events and donor experiences
  


• Maintain accurate donor, grant, and event records
  


• Help support phone coverage during business hours
  


• Perform other duties as needed. 
  

Required qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree
  
  


• 4+ years of experience in donor stewardship, development support, fundraising administration, or nonprofit advancement
  
  


• Strong writing, editing, organizational, and communication skills
  
  


• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
  
  


• Experience with CRMs, donor databases, and reporting tools
  
  


• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical fundraising practices
  
  

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Primarily standard business hours
  
  


• Occasional evening or weekend work for events or key deadlines
  
  


• Some travel may be required
  
  


• Valid driver's license required
  
  


• Demonstrates spiritual maturity, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and dedication to a Christian body of believers. Alignment with DOOR International’s Statement of Faith is required.
