Job Title: Educational Program Associate – Alumni
Reports to: Director of Education
Location: Great Barrington, MA; Remote Possible in Washington, D.C., or near a major airport
Travel Requirement: Approximately 40%

Position Summary
American Institute for Economic Research educates Americans on the value of personal freedom, free enterprise, property rights, limited government, and sound money. AIER’s ongoing scientific research demonstrates the importance of these principles in advancing peace, prosperity and human progress.
The primary goal of all AIER programs is to facilitate the dissemination of economic research and to engage everyday people in the ideas related to our mission. These programs occur both on AIER’s campus and at conferences across the country. The secondary purpose of these programs is to generate meaningful feedback to improve research and develop dynamic educational content.
The American Institute for Economic Research (AIER) seeks a highly organized and mission-driven Educational Program Associate to develop Alumni Programs and engage Alumni to build support and engagement in that growing community.
This role is central to the success of AIER’s educational mission and will provide an opportunity to both build programming with the Director of Education and will require close collaboration with internal teams, as well as external partners.

Pay Range
$55,000 - $65,000 annually depending on experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to lift and transport program materials (up to 30 pounds) within the office environment as well as to event sites; remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time; frequently move around the office and between offices; constantly operate a computer and computer printer; frequently adjust focus for close vision work. The employee must be able to communicate both in writing and orally to various audiences, in person, by telephone and video.
The employee will work in a private, home, or shared office environment. Travel will be required for this position. The employee must have the capacity to participate in setting up events and provide general support to other team members.
