Accountabilities
- Lead and participate in electrical engineering activities that improve the reliability of assets and optimize maintenance costs
- Manage analysis and ensure follow-up on predictive data such as coordination studies and relay tests
- Provide technical guidance on electrical codes, standards, and corporate guidelines
- Assist with engineering studies and incident investigations while preparing detailed reports
- Establish and maintain equipment condition assessments for high yards and voltage motors
- Provide technical assistance to field teams regarding high voltage distribution systems
- Support project planning through technical input and participation in new project phases
- Conduct training and mentorship for technicians in preventative maintenance practices
Requirements
- Understanding of medium/high voltage motors and distribution systems
- Familiarity with electrical codes like IEC, ISA, and NEC
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications
- Ability to travel for extended periods with little advance notice
- Valid driver's license required
