What you'll do:
Design solar energy and photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential (multifamily) projects.
Review electrical plans and roof plans provided by clients to define how and where solar panels will be placed.
Calculate system requirements based on the number of rooms and electrical devices in each home (e.g., TVs, air conditioning units), and determine the best installation approach.
Prepare electrical drawings and documentation associated with solar installations.
Prepare project quotes using the client's existing Excel template (training provided).
Coordinate technically with designers and other professionals to keep projects on track.
Track and update project information in Smartsheet.
What you must have:
Background as an Electrical Engineer.
Experience preparing electrical drawings and documentation.
Experience with solar and photovoltaic (PV) systems.
Experience working on residential (multifamily) projects.
Proficiency in Excel.
Ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload.
Ability to coordinate technically with designers and other professionals.
Flexible availability based on workload, overlapping with Eastern Time (ET).
Advanced English level.
A great plus:
Experience with Helioscope.
Experience preparing project quotes.
Experience with microgrids and Energy Storage Systems (ESS).
Experience on renewable energy projects.
Familiarity with Smartsheet.
