The Role:

As the Exception Management Specialist, you will be responsible for the following and report directly to the Head of Operations:

• Operate & Oversee Reconciliation Technology: ensure a fully reconciled internal system, encompassing cash, position, dividend, and interest reconciliations
• Collaborate with Middle Office and Corporate Action Teams: facilitate the accurate processing of trades, booking of corporate actions, availability of financial instruments data in the internal system, and ensure accurate security pricing
• Enhance Reconciliation Approaches: take part in operating and overseeing reconciliation technology to deliver a more effective and enhanced reconciliation approach
• Manage Client Funds Reconciliation: perform client funds reconciliation against the company's external positions and clients' accounts allocation
• Support Client Service and Compliance Teams: work closely with the Client Management and Compliance teams to provide necessary data for further investigation or sanction monitoring
• Resolve Back-Office Queries: manage and efficiently resolve back-office queries from clients or internal departments
• Drive Business Continuous Improvement: engage in continuous analysis and improvement of the processes to create efficiencies and increase productivity without compromising on quality
• Assist with Middle-Office Queries: provide support for trade booking and other middle-office queries

Your Profile:

You are an experienced Exception Management Specialist who is highly motivated and detail-oriented and meet the following requirements:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial operations, back office, or reconciliation roles within investment banking, asset management, or brokerage environments
• Experience with reconciliation systems (ideally Calypso or similar platforms)
• Strong understanding of financial instruments (equities, bonds, derivatives, FX, etc.) and related operational processes
• Knowledge of cash, position, dividend, and interest reconciliations
• Familiarity with corporate actions processing, trade lifecycle, and security pricing
• Experience working with or supporting Middle Office and Corporate Action teams
• Ability to analyze and resolve back-office and reconciliation issues with a high degree of accuracy and urgency
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and efficiency
• Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a collaborative team culture
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and workflows
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of Russian or Greek is a plus

• Salary Range: EUR 40,000 - 60,000 gross/year (depending on qualifications and experience).
