Accountabilities
- Lead and execute valuation deal models across all types of transactions.
- Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic partnerships and key transactions.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of strategic opportunities aligned with long-term objectives.
- Work collaboratively to support long-range planning and financial assessments.
- Spearhead post-deal analysis and implementation of key learnings.
- Serve as a thought partner to the executive team in value creation efforts.
- Mentor and develop a corporate development team, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Represent the company externally at industry conferences and with potential partners.
Requirements
- 10-15 years experience in corporate/business development in the biotech/pharma industry.
- Proven track record in leading and closing late-stage and commercial stage transactions.
- Extensive knowledge of financial analysis and valuation methodologies.
- MBA or other advanced degree; scientific degree is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, highly driven and hands-on.
- Excellent communication skills for engagement with C-level executives.
