From our "Farm-to-Closet" initiative in India to our use of rescued deadstock fabrics in Los Angeles, we design with the intention of reciprocity. We are looking for a Designer who sees a garment not as a commodity, but as a living story of craftsmanship and ecology.

The Role
As a Remote Designer, you will be the creative architect of our collections. You will lead the design process from your home studio, utilizing high-level digital tools to communicate vision, fit, and construction to our production team in Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Digital Conceptualization: Design vintage-inspired collections using Adobe Creative Suite and/or 3D design software (CLO 3D/Browzwear) to minimize physical sampling waste.
• Remote Material Strategy: Work closely with our LA-based sourcing team via video to select deadstock textiles and regenerative cottons; managing "swatch libraries" from your remote location.
• Technical Communication: Create "production-ready" tech packs that are so detailed they minimize the need for in-person troubleshooting.
• Virtual Fittings: Lead fit sessions via high-definition video, providing clear, annotated feedback to the on-site sample room and pattern makers.
• Artisan Collaboration: Maintain a strong digital connection with our local LA seamstresses and international partners to ensure ethical integrity is maintained across distances.

The Ideal Candidate
 

• 3+ Years of Experience as a fashion designer
• Digital Savvy: Can lead a fitting session through a screen as effectively as in person.
• Self-Starter: You thrive in an autonomous environment and don't need a physical office to stay inspired 
• Tactile Memory: Even from a distance, you have a deep understanding of fabric weights and drapes (specifically natural fibers like cotton, silk, and wool).
• Travel Ready: Willingness to travel to our Los Angeles studio 2–4 times per year for seasonal kick-offs or intensive development weeks.

  Annual Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 (Based on experience).
