Job Overview:

Looking for a Finance Associate who will assist in managing our financial operations, reporting, compliance, and planning functions. You should be detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated to contribute to a mission-led organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and budgets
• Perform day-to-day accounting using tools such as Tally, Zoho, or QuickBooks
• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and expense management
• Support compliance tasks including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and income tax filings
• Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and banks for financial documentation and transactions

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision-making

• Help prepare proposals and reports for funding and grant partners

• Maintain financial records and ensure regulatory and organizational compliance

Primary Skills (Must-Have):

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Excel and at least one accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, etc.)

• Working knowledge of taxation and statutory compliance

• Analytical thinking and attention to detail

Secondary Skills (Good-to-Have):

• Familiarity with non-profit financial processes, budgeting, or grant accounting
• Experience in working with consulting firms, startups, or social enterprises

• Knowledge of financial forecasting tools or ERP systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or related field

• 1-5 years of relevant experience in a finance/accounting role

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
