Fractional Executive Director

Position Summary

Acts as the lead staff executive for one or more associations, partnering with volunteer boards to execute strategy and oversee operations.

Key Responsibilities

Board Leadership

• Prepare board meetings.


• Advise volunteer leaders.


• Implement board decisions.

Operations

• Oversee budgets.


• Manage vendors.


• Supervise projects and staff.

Client Success

• Serve as primary client contact.


• Identify strategic opportunities.


• Ensure exceptional service delivery.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years nonprofit or association leadership.


• Board governance experience.


• Budget management.


• Project management.
