Freelance Market Analyst

We’re looking for an experienced Market Analyst (Freelance, Remote) to produce timely, trader-focused market analysis and commentary across global and APAC financial markets. You’ll cover equities, indices, forex and commodities, turning market movements, macro developments and breaking news into clear insights for active traders.

Responsibilities

• Produce regular market commentary, trade ideas and weekly market outlooks.
• Analyse market movements using technical, fundamental and macroeconomic analysis.
• Cover key events including economic data, central bank decisions, earnings and major market-moving news.
• Explain what moved, why it matters and what traders should watch next.
• Create long-form market analysis as well as shorter content for social and email.
• Incorporate charts, market data, technical levels and trading scenarios where relevant.

Requirements

• Professional experience in market analysis, trading, investment research or financial markets.
• Strong knowledge of equities, forex, indices and/or commodities.
• Experience with technical and fundamental analysis.
• Excellent English writing skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex market developments.
• Strong understanding of APAC and global markets.
• Ability to respond quickly to breaking market developments.
