FSY - CHEF DE PARTIE - PASTRY

Four Seasons Yachts is redefining ultra-luxury travel with its first yacht setting sail in January 2026. As part of the prestigious Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, this 207-meter-long super-yacht features 14 decks and 95 spacious suites, each with floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces — offering unmatched elegance on the high seas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and present a wide range of pastries, including petits gâteaux, tarts, mousses, and other dessert items, utilizing scratch cooking techniques.
• Demonstrate proficiency in various pastry techniques, including baking, assembling, and decorating.
• Follow established recipes and pastry standards to ensure consistency and quality in every item produced.
• Create visually appealing presentations that reflect the artistry and elegance of pastry work.
• Contribute to a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations by delivering high-quality, beautifully presented pastries and desserts.
• Engage with guests to share knowledge about pastry techniques and ingredients, enhancing their dining experience and fostering appreciation for fine desserts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry station, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
• Assist in the daily setup and breakdown of the pastry area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and properly maintained.
• Uphold strict standards of food safety and hygiene, conducting regular checks on ingredients and finished products to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and communicate needs for restocking to the Sous Chef.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Cruise ship experience mandatory
• 21+ years old, no offensive tattoos allowed
• A Culinary Arts Degree or relevant certifications is preferred, with specialized training in pastry considered a strong asset. Basic food safety certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of dedicated pastry experience in a professional kitchen, with a focus on luxury hospitality or yacht/cruise line operations preferred.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English are essential

• Willingness to live and work onboard the Yacht for extended periods, with travel to various international
  destinations.
