Job Description - Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Join Axelar's Product Engineering team, a team dedicated to develop applications built on Axelar. As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping existing Axelar products (such as ITS portal, Axelarscan), and launching new applications built on top of the Axelar stack. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to collaborate globally in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Your responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless integration with Axelar's blockchain infrastructure.
Implement and enhance UX/UI to create intuitive and user-friendly applications.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both frontend and backend systems.
Perform contract calls and integrate Solidity smart contracts.
Debug, troubleshoot, and maintain existing code to ensure reliability and performance.
Stay updated with the latest Web3 technologies and trends, applying them to enhance Axelar’s products and applications.

Your profile

3-5 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer
Experience and familiarity with DeFi products is preferred.
Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js, Node.js) and backend technologies.
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, with the ability to deliver polished, user-centric interfaces.
Proven experience in fast-paced, startup environments, with the ability to adapt and deliver.
Excellent problem-solving skills, strong collaboration abilities, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
Studied STEM in top university.
