American International University (AIU) in Kuwait is seeking dynamic, student-centered Biology faculty to join our School of Arts & Sciences. What You’ll Do

• Teach a range of Biology courses (introductory to advanced) for engineering, biotechnology, and general education students


• Deliver engaging instruction with real-world applications and active learning methods


• Contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, and academic advising


• Participate in departmental service and institutional initiatives


• Engage in research or scholarly activities aligned with your expertise

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field


• Minimum 3 years of university-level teaching experience (preferred)


• Minimum 5 years of professional/industry experience in Biology or related fields (preferred)


• Strong command of English and effective classroom communication


• Experience teaching in classroom, hybrid, and online environments


• Cultural adaptability and enthusiasm for working with a diverse student population


• Commitment to mentoring, student success, and academic excellence


• Experience supporting English language learners and first-generation students is valued
