This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote General Accounting Business Partner. In this role, you will serve as a crucial link between local businesses and the Finance CSS Centers, enabling effective change and fostering collaboration. You will actively engage with stakeholders to identify financial solutions, ensuring that the unique needs of each business unit are met. Your proactive approach will help drive alignment and transparency within the organization, allowing for enhanced financial support and guidance. As a key player in this dynamic environment, you will be tasked with overseeing adherence to accounting policies while championing best practices throughout the finance landscape.
Accountabilities
- Act as a consulting partner and central bridge between internal stakeholders and Finance CSS Centers.
- Drive proactive stakeholder management by organizing and participating in recurring business partner meetings.
- Build a deep understanding of the operational landscape of each Business Unit for tailored financial support.
- Develop, provide, and continuously update training materials to ensure consistent understanding of finance topics.
- Safeguard adherence to Group Accounting & Reporting policies by monitoring local finance processes.
- Lead in-depth analysis of balance sheet items, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure robust design and execution of local internal controls by collaborating with the Internal Control team.
- Act as the local change leader for finance-related systems and projects.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance and Accounting or comparable professional education.
- At least 5 years of experience in General Accounting and Reporting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory accounting standards.
- Excellent understanding of SAP S/4HANA FI/CO and project accounting.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Advanced communication skills and a deep understanding of change management principles.
- High level of accuracy and a proactive approach to tasks.
