General Insurance Broker with fluent English and Chinese-speaking

We are looking for an experienced General Insurance Broker to interact with Australian underwriters and both English and Chinese-speaking clients. This is not a life insurance position or finance/bank position. The skill set (previous experience) relates explicitly to general insurance broking for small and medium clients primarily focussed on property, liability and business insurance.

Position – General Insurance Broker

Key responsibilities will include:

• Working with an experienced broking team to service and grow a portfolio of general insurance clients
• Focusing on renewals, new business quotes, endorsements
• Dealing directly with clients by phone and email and via zoom/teams where required
• Growing and developing relationships with clients, underwriters, referral partners and other stakeholders
• Carry out Key Responsibilities with and without direct supervision

• Great communication skills both written and verbal (Chinese Mandarin and English)
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• High quality of output, highly detail-oriented with attention to accuracy
• Self-structured, and highly organised, with attention to steps, processes, systems and deadlines
• Driven to positive client outcomes

Your Qualifications/Experience

• Minimum 3 years of insurance broking experience
• Relevant country’s Insurance Broker qualifications
• Proficiency with broking systems - Winbeat, Sunrise (Officetech is beneficial but not necessary) – this is preferred but can be trained.
• Happy to work in a team environment
