Job Description - GoHighLevel Specialist

About the Role

A GoHighLevel Specialist is the technical owner of the CRM who ensures data, appointments, and automations run seamlessly. This role goes beyond building funnels — it’s about consolidating information from multiple sources, maintaining clean databases, and gradually automating processes for efficiency and scale.

Core Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and streamline data from multiple sources into one GoHighLevel account (contacts, appointments, pipelines).
  • Own and maintain the GoHighLevel CRM, ensuring accuracy, organization, and long-term usability.
  • Begin with manual entry, cleanup, and testing, then transition processes into full automation.
  • Create and manage workflows, triggers, and automations to improve efficiency and client experience.
  • Manage data hygiene: deduplication, tagging, segmentation, and database structure.
  • Build reports and dashboards for accurate performance tracking.
  • Troubleshoot issues and maintain integrations (Zapier, calendars, payment processors, scheduling tools).
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on GoHighLevel experience, with a focus on CRM ownership and automation.
  • Strong database management skills — data consolidation, cleaning, segmentation, and reporting.
  • Proven ability to set up manual processes first, then evolve them into automated workflows.
  • Deep technical understanding of CRM structures, automations, and integrations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Naturally proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.
