Group Financial Accountant

Halliday Marx have partnered with an international consultancy to hire a Group Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.

This role is fully remote.

• Responsibilities
• Full month end accounting for multiple entities including accurate balance sheet reconciliations
• Producing year end financial statements for multiple entities
• Annual statutory audit for multiple entities
• Process improvement across the group - identify weaknesses and propose solutions/improvement
• Actively involved and hands-on with finance/system implementations
• Support the year end group consolidation process
• Reconciliations trial balances to supporting schedules
• Management of IFRS 16 (leases) schedule across the group
• Submission of VAT returns for local entities/liaise with local tax advisors
• Management of one Finance Assistant

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Strong technical accounting (IFRS & UK GAAP)
• Ideally from an audit/business services background but industry would be considered
• Microsoft Dynamics would be an added bonus but isn't required
• Good sense of humour
