An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Operations to join a fast-growing healthcare provider delivering specialist community-based care services across the UK.
The organisation has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, person-centred care and is now entering its next phase of growth. With an established operational infrastructure and strong commercial performance, the business is seeking a strategic operational leader to scale service delivery, strengthen operational performance, and support continued expansion.
This is a senior leadership role offering significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence both operational strategy and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the operational performance of services across the organisation
Oversee and develop an established management team, including an Operations Manager, Team Leader, and Care Coordinators
Drive operational excellence, ensuring high-quality, safe, and person-centred service delivery
Develop scalable systems, processes, and operational frameworks to support business growth
Monitor service performance, KPIs, compliance, and quality standards
Work collaboratively with commercial, clinical, and senior leadership teams to achieve strategic objectives
Lead operational improvement initiatives and embed best practice across the business
Support the mobilisation of new services and expansion into new regions
Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, quality, and continuous improvement
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head of Operations, Operations Director, or senior operational leader within Health & Social Care
Demonstrable experience leading multi-site operations and managing senior operational teams
Strong understanding of operational performance, governance, compliance, and quality assurance
Proven track record of scaling operations within a growing organisation
Ideally has worked within an organisation of 200+ employees with an annual turnover of £15–20 million+
Commercially astute with experience balancing operational excellence and business growth
Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to operate strategically while maintaining strong operational oversight
