Spreetail is looking for an entrepreneurial, data-driven leader to scale our social commerce division and fully weaponize the massive shift toward content-driven commerce. As the Head of Social Commerce, you will operate like a General Manager—owning the end-to-end TikTok Shop P&L, leading a high-performing team of affiliate and brand growth experts, and steering our strategic partnership with TikTok. How will you achieve success:
- Own the TikTok Shop P&L: Drive channel revenue (GMV), profitability, and cost-per-acquisition (CP) targets with complete, end-to-end accountability.
- Lead and Scale the Team: Direct, coach, and develop a team of onshore Affiliate Managers, a Brand Growth Lead, and offshore coordinators, holding a high bar for performance.
- Manage the Strategic TikTok Relationship: Serve as Spreetail’s primary face to TikTok, leading Joint Business Plan (JBP) negotiations and securing platform-exclusive advantages.
- Architect Creator Strategy: Define the creator tier mix, commission structures, and overall playbook to activate affiliate networks and scale content-to-conversion.
- Drive SKU Content Coverage: Establish and execute category-specific content goals to ensure a target of 60%+ of listed SKUs have active creator coverage within 18 months.
- Own the TikTok LIVE Strategy: Oversee the programming calendar, product curation, and creator lineup to hit aggressive LIVE commerce GMV targets.
- Accelerate Brand Partnerships: Partner with the Brand Growth Lead to systematically prioritize, work, and convert an inbound pipeline of 45+ brand partner requests into active programs.
- Optimize Budget & Cross-Channel ROI: Manage the creator commission and Variable Rate Program (VRP) budget while building measurement frameworks to track the downstream TikTok-to-Amazon halo effect.
What experiences will help you in this role:
- An Experienced Operator: 5+ years of experience in ecommerce, marketplace management, or creator commerce, with a proven track record of absolute P&L ownership.
- A Proven People Leader: Experience directly managing and developing talent, setting clear expectations, and driving a team toward aggressive performance targets.
- Fluent in the Creator Economy: Deep knowledge of affiliate programs, creator tiers, digital culture, and the explicit mechanics that drive social commerce conversions.
- A Strategic Relationship Builder: Experienced in navigating and maximizing high-level external platform partnerships (e.g., TikTok, Amazon, Walmart).
- Data-Driven & Financially Savvy: Comfortable digging into complex financial data, managing budgets, and making fast resource-allocation decisions using channel metrics.
- An Executive Communicator: Highly effective at translating complex channel performance into business metrics for senior leadership forums and QBRs.
- Platform Native (Preferred): Deep hands-on experience specifically within the TikTok Shop ecosystem, including LIVE commerce and VRP mechanics.
- A Scaler of Programs (Preferred): Proven success scaling an early-stage creator or influencer affiliate network to 200+ active creators.
- Tech-Stack Fluent (Preferred): Familiarity with creator CRMs and affiliate tracking tools such as Grin, Impact, Circle, or similar platforms.
