Job Description - Health Care Business Writer

Description

We're looking to add a Health Care Business Writer to our team to work with our OPEN MINDS Circle Market Intelligence Services, a specialty syndicated market research service with 16,000 member organizations – specialty health care provider organizations, health plans, tech companies, and investors.  

This role is responsible for researching, interviewing, analyzing, drafting and finalizing the curated content we provide to our member executives. The writer will be involved in nearly every step of content production.  

This is a full-time position based in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. A hybrid or remote role will be considered for the right candidate. Travel is required - to our executive institutes and quarterly team meetings at our offices in Gettysburg. Requirements

A successful candidate will be a self-driven person who is deadline-oriented with a focus on health care strategy. Great writing and communication skills are critical. Knowledge of health care field is also vital - with former management experience in health care is preferred. 

  • Minimum of four years of experience in market research and writing/development
  • Experience editing content, and ability to receive critical feedback 
  • Knowledge of the health care field
  • Excellent project management; organizational, communication, and analytical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency with and working knowledge of computer applications including, but not limited to, word processing, electronic data transfer programs, e-mail, databases, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with a C-Level executive is a plus.
  • Visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
  • Ability to drive an automobile and must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time, as well as bending and lifting from a sitting or standing position.
  • Ability to travel unattended on an as needed basis.
