This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote HPC & AI Software Engineering Engineer. In this role, you will work primarily from home and will be a crucial part of a global service team specializing in high-performance computing. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting complex computing cluster issues, providing customer support at a high technical level, and collaborating across various teams to enhance service delivery. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on supercomputer products and contribute to the advancement of high-performance computing solutions.
Accountabilities
- Provide technical support for customer reported issues escalated to level 3 support.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, reproduce, isolate, escalate, and resolve issues.
- Facilitate high quality communication with customers.
- Work with various teams on support, publications, training, and testing.
- Design engineering solutions for products and software.
- Collaborate with management and partners on project status and issue resolution.
- Test and provide new system software updates and documentation.
- Document and communicate throughout the issue resolution process.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4-6 years of technical experience in HPC-related areas.
- Proficient in Linux administration and strong Linux knowledge.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Linux cluster management is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, mastery in English and local language.
- Ability to gather data and see issues through to closure.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
- Experience working effectively in a team environment.
