Summary (Fully Remote)
We are seeking a reliable and responsive On-Call HR Support Specialist to provide part-time coverage during off-hours, ensuring employees receive timely support and proper triage of HR inquiries outside regular business hours. This is a critical role for maintaining operational continuity in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor and respond promptly to HR-related emails during assigned hours
* Triage issues and maintain a prioritized follow-up list for the HR Generalist
* Provide accurate, timely support regarding:
* Overtime and scheduling policies
* Clock-in/clock-out discrepancies
* Health insurance and benefits questions
* Other routine HR inquiries
* Maintain and update a dynamic FAQ dashboard to streamline common requests
* Escalate urgent matters based on established escalation protocols
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in HR or customer support, preferably in a 24/7 or shift-based environment
* Strong understanding of HR operations, benefits, and timekeeping practices
* Excellent written English and strong organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and respond reliably during off-hours
* Proficiency in tools such as Paylocity, Square, Homebase, Guidelines, and Google Drive
Nice to Have:
* Experience supporting remote or distributed teams
* Familiarity with internal knowledge base or documentation tools
