Position Description:
We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our HR Team in our Taylor, MI. The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field and have zero to five years of related experience. The candidate must be self-motivated, work well with others, be comfortable learning and teaching new technology, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 90 days of employment.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Manage multiple open positions and perform recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, etc.
- Support HR functions for the employee life cycle including onboarding, employee engagement, performance appraisals, communication, career development, and offboarding
- Maintain assigned HR related programs that may include performance appraisals, various employee activities, document management, surveys, etc.
- Maintain Human Resources databases, complete data entry and HRIS reporting
- Support other HR projects as assigned
- Maintain a safe working environment
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
Skills/Experience:
- Zero to five years of experience in an HR and/or recruiting environment
- Basic knowledge of O365 (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
- Experience with HRIS software (UKG Pro) preferred
