Job Description:


We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled HVAC Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-15 years of professional experience in HVAC design, technical detailing, and project management. As an HVAC Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for a variety of residential, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial projects. You will work closely with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to ensure that HVAC systems are designed and installed efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Design: Develop technical specifications for HVAC systems, perform heat load calculations, and plan for the proper installation of HVAC equipment with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.


  • Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle from design to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards and regulations.


  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure HVAC system designs meet the project’s requirements and expectations.


  • Installation Supervision: Supervise the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring all work is executed according to design specifications, local codes, and safety regulations.


  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support by troubleshooting and resolving any HVAC-related issues that arise during and after installation. Optimize system efficiency and address any mechanical malfunctions.


  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, system reports, and maintenance records for compliance, audits, and future reference.


  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies, climate control innovations, and sustainable solutions to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency.


  • Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and project budgets for HVAC systems, ensuring that financial aspects align with project requirements.


Types of Projects:



  • HVAC systems for residential, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial buildings.

  • Design and implementation of energy-efficient, sustainable, and high-performance HVAC solutions for diverse environments.


Required Skills:



  • 5-15 years of professional experience in HVAC system design, technical detailing, and project management.

  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including design principles, equipment, and installation processes.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address technical issues and optimize system performance.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients, architects, contractors, and project teams.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, meet deadlines, and effectively manage resources.

  • In-depth understanding of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

  • Proficiency in CAD software and other HVAC design and analysis tools.

  • Strong experience in developing energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions.


Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5-15 years of professional experience in HVAC design, project management, and installation, with a focus on technical detailing and system optimization.

  • Additional certifications or training in HVAC systems or sustainable energy solutions is a plus.
