Job Description - Implementation Manager

High-quality, affordable early care and education for everyone starts with systems that work, and BridgeCare builds the technology that powers them. As Implementation Manager, you'll take each client from signed agreement to go-live and leave them ready to run on their own.

BridgeCare

BridgeCare believes in making great technology publicly available, accessible, and easy to use. We are a small, women-led, hardworking team of technologists who make the system of childcare work. We believe every child should have access to excellent early childhood education, every person should be able to pursue purpose and enjoy family, and every provider should be valued as an educator. BridgeCare's software is a white-label data and case management system for government agencies in the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) sector. We are innovative, collaborative, and autonomous, committed to creating fundamental, systemic change that makes the entire ECE system more equitable and effective.

What You Will Do

As Implementation Manager, you are the accountable project lead for BridgeCare customer implementations, from signed agreement through go-live and a clean handoff to Client Success. You will run a concurrent book of implementations for government agencies, nonprofits, and other ECCE organizations, turning the Statement of Work and pre-sales commitments into a living project plan and partnering with Configuration, Product, Engineering, and Support to deliver on time, in scope, and in hours. This is a project management role with business-analysis depth, not a standing client-success seat.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the project plan, timeline, RAID log, and milestone tracking in Wrike from kickoff through go-live.

  • Convert the signed SOW and discovery notes into a scoped workback plan, then hold scope by separating in-scope configuration from change requests and out-of-scope ideas.

  • Lead discovery, process mapping, and gap analysis, documenting requirements that Configuration, Product, and Engineering can act on.

  • Lead UAT, training, and go-live planning, including environment promotion and a controlled production cutover with owners, rollback, and client confirmation.

  • Run kickoff, status, UAT, and go-live meetings with clear agendas, outcomes, owners, and dates, followed by written recaps.

  • Close implementations against the exit checklist and hand off to Client Success with documentation, open risks, and clear ownership.

Who You Are

You are an experienced project manager who has led implementations as the accountable owner, and you know what it takes to actually finish one. You can say no to scope with a path forward, engage credibly in technical and configuration discussions in a no-code environment, and keep several implementations moving at different phases without midnight hours as the operating model. You communicate clearly with executives, program staff, and technical partners, and you use AI-assisted drafting for document-heavy work so client time is spent on decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Active project management certification, current at start: PMP preferred; PRINCE2 Practitioner, PgMP, or PMI-ACP accepted (CAPM alone does not meet this requirement).

  • 5+ years leading SaaS, professional-services, or public-sector implementations as the accountable project manager.

  • Demonstrated closeout discipline, including exit criteria, CS or operations handoff, and a hard end to hypercare.

  • Experience with a project system of record (Wrike, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or equivalent), a wiki such as Confluence, and weekly time tracking against SOW hours.

  • Willingness to travel up to 15% within the United States and eligibility to work in the US.

  • Preferred: Government, nonprofit, tribal, or foundation implementations with complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

  • Preferred: Early childhood education, human services, or benefits-eligibility domain experience.

  • Preferred: Startup or small-team experience, plus familiarity with data migration, integrations, and production cutover planning.

Benefits

OTE (base + bonus): $104,000 to $120,000

Mission-driven team working to drive universal access to quality early childhood education

High-impact role with autonomy, ownership, and visibility across the organization

Opportunities to shape processes, systems, and solutions as the company grows

Remote work and flexible scheduling

Flexible PTO

Medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life insurance

FSA, HSA, and company-matched 401(k)

Business can be a powerful platform for social change, and our higher purpose is to use recruiting as a force for good to improve people's lives. BridgeCare Finance, Inc. is committed to fostering a people-first culture, one that honors diversity and welcomes people regardless of their chosen or inherent identity.
