Information Processing Specialist

The Information Processing Specialist at Proweaver is a vital role charged with the responsibility of maintaining and managing data and information flow within the organization. Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize the mainframe computer, local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and all other company hardware.
• Manage and troubleshoot operating systems and server applications. This involves converting data when upgrading systems and recovering data after a hardware failure.
• Assist in developing and implementing computer policies and procedures for the company. This might include recommending new software or hardware solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate closely with other departments to identify, recommend, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. Experience with database management systems, data entry, and maintaining computer hardware and software.
• Proficiency in data management systems, including data entry, analysis, and recovery, as well as error detection and report generation.
• A solid understanding of network design and data communication.
