THE WORK:
- You'll assist the Cost Manager in ensuring project costs are effectively managed
- You'll assist the Cost Manager with preparing cost estimates, plans, and incorporating benchmarking data for review
- You'll participate in design team meetings, assess cost implications, and help implement agreed outcomes
- You'll assist the Cost Manager with contributing to the pre-contract process
- You'll assist with preparing & managing change order logs, invoice logs, and detailed cost reports
- You'll attend client meetings with senior colleagues and document key discussion points & action itemsYou'll assist with measurements and pricing research for development appraisals and qualification reviews
- Remote: This role allows for remote work for the majority of your work hours
- With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Coursework in construction/cost management
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of construction projects and cost principles
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel for simple calculations and data tracking
- Show strong attention to detail and willingness to learn structured cost processes
- Effective communication skills to support coordination with project teams
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks with guidance
- Eager to learn cost management tools, systems, and industry best practices
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Project Management Experience
- Team player with the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
- Organized and detail oriented
$20 - $25 an hour
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
