In-House Insurance Defense Attorney, Construction General Liability

Full Remote (Must reside in CA) 

We're looking for an experienced In-House Defense Attorney to join our growing legal team. In this role, you'll manage construction general liability claims from inception to resolution, contributing to a company that values individual growth and offers exciting future opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as in-house defense counsel, actively managing a diverse caseload of construction general liability claims.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external parties, including experts and opposing counsel.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies, demonstrating strong litigation management skills.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case development.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and an active license to practice law in California.
• 5+ years of litigation experience with a focus on defense, specifically in General Liability / Construction Defect.
• Strong coverage background is essential.
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently as a self-starter.
• Extensive trial experience is required.

Salary Range:

$125,000 - $200,000 annually
