Job Overview
We are seeking a professional, empathetic, and detail-oriented Remote Intake Specialist to join our team. This position is open to applicants based in the United States and offers flexible working hours with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.
The Intake Specialist serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients, customers, or patients, gathering essential information, assessing needs, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming inquiries via phone, email, and online channels
- Conduct intake interviews and gather relevant client information accurately
- Review and verify submitted documentation and records
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in company databases and CRM systems
- Schedule consultations, appointments, or follow-up calls as needed
- Explain company services, processes, and next steps to prospective clients
- Route inquiries to appropriate departments or team members
- Follow up with leads and incomplete applications to ensure timely completion
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company policies
- Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the intake process
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work and reside in the United States
- Previous experience in intake coordination, customer service, call center support, client relations, healthcare administration, legal intake, or a similar role preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and CRM software
- Reliable computer, internet connection, and dedicated workspace
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a remote environment
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho
- Experience in healthcare, legal services, insurance, or professional services industries

Compensation
- $17–$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
