Position Reports To: AVP of Business Operations Consulting & Internal Audit
Position Supervises: Senior Internal Auditors and Internal Auditors

Summary of Position
Ensure proper utilization of internal auditors. Plan supervised and reported field work to provide timely completion of various audit services to client credit unions. Assist in training staff and answering questions from staff and clients.

Qualifications
Education/Certification: These abilities are typically acquired through a high school education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, specializing in accounting or another related field, or equivalent experience.
Required Knowledge: Work required accounting knowledge, the ability to use word processing, spreadsheets, computer operating systems, credit analysis, report-writing, and presentation.
Experience Required: At least three years of similar or related experience is required.
Skills/Abilities: Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills necessary for communicating with internal clients and management and for projecting a positive image as representative of CU Resources.

Physical Activities and Requirements of this Position
Travel up to 25% of the time. Travels to different client locations to perform audits. It may include car or air travel.

Mental Activities and Requirements of this Position
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions and to deal with problems involving some variables.
Mathematics Ability: Ability to perform basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing two-digit numbers: to perform the four basic arithmetic operations with money.
Language Ability: Ability to write complex sentences, using proper punctuation, and use adjectives and adverbs.
