Job Overview:

Looking for a proactive IT (Systems) Associate to support, maintain, and improve our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth and secure operations across our internal and external technology environments. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and maintain system infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage

• Perform system monitoring, backups, and routine maintenance tasks

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues

• Ensure endpoint security, antivirus updates, and patch management

• Support configuration of email systems, collaboration tools, and enterprise applications

• Assist with the deployment of new hardware and software

• Maintain asset inventory and IT documentation

• Provide tech support to employees and coordinate with vendors as needed

Primary Skills (Must-Have):

• Experience with Windows/Linux system administration

• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)

• Understanding of Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud-based systems

• Basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation familiarity

• Experience with IT support ticketing systems and user support

Secondary Skills (Good-to-Have):

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection policies

• Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)

• Interest in social impact tech environments or NGO tech support

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 1-5 years of experience in a systems or IT support role
• Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving, impact-driven organization
