Our team are specialists with extensive experience in various IT fields who not only manage and develop one of the largest IT infrastructures in Lithuania but also ensure stable and uninterrupted IS service delivery to Ignitis Group companies in Lithuania and abroad.

We are looking for an experienced IT Licensing Management System Administrator who will handle the management of software, infrastructure, and cloud licensing, ensure compliance, and collaborate with group divisions to sustainably optimize license usage across the organization.

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

• Working with innovative and automated license management tools (such as USU SAM and others) and managing the accounting of IT software, infrastructure, and cloud licenses (Red Hat, Microsoft, Oracle, VMware, IBM, etc.), as well as cloud resource usage within the Ignitis Group
• Coordinating license agreements in line with the roadmap and, in collaboration with other departments, continuously monitoring and ensuring compliance with IT licensing requirements across the Group
• Optimizing IT license usage, and preparing IT infrastructure licensing and solution requirements for procurement and implementation
• Collaborating with license manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely and effective solutions for the IT of Ignitis Group

• Have a higher education degree (in IT or exact sciences), and additional legal education or an interest in IT law would be an advantage (or vice versa)
• Experience in administering USU SAM or a similar IT license management system
• Understand the general principles of IT infrastructure operation, licensing practices, and have experience and a desire to automate daily tasks using innovative IT automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc.)
• Have a good command of the English language (written and spoken)
• A proactive mindset, strong communication and interested in innovations

Would be an advantage:

• Knowledge of Microsoft, Oracle, VMware, IBM, and/or other on-premise and cloud product licensing principles
• Additional legal education or an interest in IT law would be an advantage (or vice versa)
