Accountabilities:

• Translate and localize English medical and life sciences content into Japanese with accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and domain-specific terminology.
• Work on a range of content types including clinical trial materials, healthcare documentation, and other medical communications.
• Leverage advanced translation technology and tools to improve speed, quality, and consistency across projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and linguistic reviewers to ensure adherence to client guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive or regulated material.

Deliver high-quality work within set deadlines, following established workflows and QA protocols

• Native Japanese speaker, born and educated in-country.
• Currently based in the United States.
• Degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.
• Demonstrated professional experience in medical or life sciences translation; candidates should provide examples of past projects or clients in relevant domains.
• Strong command of both English and Japanese medical terminology.
• Access to and experience with CAT tools or translation platforms.
• Active Payoneer account required for payment processing.
• Resume/CV must be submitted in English.
