Java Backend Developer Scalable Systems for Global Logistics

We’re hiring a Backend Developer for the Express Pricing team of our client, a world-leading logistics and transportation company with operations spanning over 220 countries.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop scalable backend solutions using Java, Spring, and Oracle SQL
  




• Troubleshoot application layers and analyze logs to ensure service reliability
  




• Collaborate on deployment pipelines and monitoring tools (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git)
  




• Contribute to system optimization, infrastructure capacity planning, and performance tuning
  




• Engage in cross-team collaboration with DevOps engineers and frontend developers (React/Angular)
  




• Participate in on-call rotation and act as a point of contact for support (ITIL-based)
  

Requirements

Must-Haves:

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer with Java & Spring
  




• Solid knowledge of SQL (Oracle or similar RDBMS)
  




• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, JIRA, and Confluence
  




• Understanding of application monitoring and troubleshooting
  




• Comfortable working in a CI/CD environment and hybrid Agile model
  

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or Angular
  




• Familiarity with Kubernetes/OpenShift, Linux, Hibernate
  




• REST/SOAP APIs, XML, HTML/CSS knowledge
  




• Experience in high-availability or mission-critical systems
