Junior Databricks and Python Data Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Databricks and Python Data Engineer to develop and maintain data pipelines in Databricks, build and optimize Python notebooks, and support AI and Machine Learning initiatives related to the data platform. The role involves collaboration with engineering teams in the United States, working US Eastern Time hours in a dynamic, delivery-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines within Databricks.


• Build, improve, and optimize notebooks using Python.


• Support AI and Machine Learning initiatives related to the data platform.


• Collaborate on an ongoing basis with engineering teams based in the United States.


• Document completed work and clearly communicate progress to the team.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience working with Databricks.


• Strong knowledge of Python.


• Experience developing notebooks and working with data.


• Fluent English.


• Availability to work US Eastern Time hours.


• Ability to perform in a dynamic, delivery-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI or Machine Learning.


• Experience testing data pipelines.


• Knowledge of C# or .NET.


• Experience working with remote teams in the United States.
