Job Description - (Junior) Prepress / Production Manager (m/w/d)

This position can either be based in Cologne (Germany) or in Milan (Italy).

Reliable planning and timely execution of projects
Obtaining quotations, coordinating external reproduction companies
Evaluating, reviewing and correcting press proofs, color proofs and print results
Liaise between editorial and production
Assisting in the development of new products and designs

Qualified training in pre-press/reproduction, media design or a relevant course of study
Several years of relevant work experience
Sound general knowledge of the program we publish (photography, pop culture, music, history, art, architecture, etc.)
Confident in handling standard DTP programs
Excellent written and spoken English, German and italian proficiency is a plus
Very good IT skills
A confident and friendly presence in an international business environment
Experience in customer contact
Accountability, cost and quality awareness
Ability to work under pressure, commitment, organizational skills
Ability to work independently and autonomously

A creative and international working environment with established systems and tools
An open culture with flat hierarchies and fast decision-making processes
Flexible working hours with the option to work from home
A permanent, full-time position
Daily exposure to high quality imagery on a wide range of subjects in a growing family business
