Junior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using front-end and back-end technologies.
• Collaborate with senior developers to understand project requirements and implement features.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions to enhance code quality.
• Learn and apply best practices in software development and version control.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues and improve functionality.

Skills

• 1-2 years developing software, with foundational knowledge of our tech stack (Git, React and TypeScript, Python, Postgres, and AWS services)
• Experience in fast-paced environments such as start-ups or creative agencies
• Basic visual and UX awareness with attention to detail
• Ability to help design and create new systems together with senior engineers.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
