Landscape Designer & Outside Sales

Come be part of a landscape business that has served the Houston area for over
35 years. We focus on large residential landscape design and installations for
plants, lights, drainage, irrigation and hardscapes.

The Landscape Designer Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Meet with prospective clients to discuss full service landscaping needs.
• Successfully convert appointment leads to signed contracts
• Experience with Quickbooks estimating.
• PhotoShop, Auto CAD, computer skills, Sketch Up coupled with good hand
• drawn renderings
• Ability to create contracts & estimates.
• Licensed Architect – a plus.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience with Plant & Design knowledge.
• Horticulture knowledge of native, non-native perennials, shrubs, trees, and specimen plant material.
• New irrigation system design knowledge
• Hardscape design knowledge
• Driver's License with good driving record
• Good communication skills.
• Bi-lingual (English-Spanish) a plus.
• Licensed irrigator and/or pesticide a plus

Salary: $45,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift (Day Shift Monday - Friday)

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Landscape Design: 3 years (Required)
• Irrigation Design: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Irrigator License (Preferred)
