Licensed Therapist

New Birth Family Counseling is a private-pay, integrated mental health and wellness practice dedicated to providing holistic, trauma-informed care to women and families navigating emotional and physiological challenges. We combine psychotherapy with functional medicine principles to support long-term healing from the inside out.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC) licensed in the state of California to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is skilled in working with trauma, women’s mental health, anxiety, and/or integrative wellness and is passionate about delivering high-quality, client-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, couples, or family psychotherapy sessions (in-person or via telehealth)

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with practice policies

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education

• Integrate holistic or functional wellness practices when appropriate

• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and colleagues

• Support the mission of New Birth Family Counseling through ethical, innovative, and culturally responsive care

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted California license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC

• Minimum of 2 years post-licensure clinical experience preferred, but not required

• Experience with trauma, women’s health, or integrated/functional approaches is a plus

• Comfortable working with diverse populations, including BIPOC and faith based clients 

• Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment

• Bilingual in other language besides Spanish, a plus
  
   

Compensation:

• $95 per session, which includes no show and cancelations 

• Flexible schedule and remote/hybrid options
