We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Load Coverage Specialist to join our Afterhours Account Executive team and support our brokerage company in delivering outstanding customer service. This role is essential in ensuring that the needs of our Carriers and Clients are met efficiently within a call center environment. Building valuable partnerships through proactive and effective communication is key to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer 60-80+ inbound calls daily from Carriers and Customers with a positive, can-do attitude.

  • Handle the scheduling of loads with shippers and receivers.

    • Accurately update and document shipment statuses in the company’s internal system and escalate issues appropriately.

    • Contact Carriers to obtain time-sensitive information and update the internal systems promptly.

    • Monitor the team email queue and fulfill requests in a timely manner, using strong professional communication skills.

    • Proactively communicate issues to relevant parties for quick and effective resolution.

    • Show eagerness to learn and expand knowledge of the company and the transportation industry, while being open to new ideas and approaches.

    • Contribute positively to the team with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

    • Adhere to general and account-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet client needs.

    • Support EchoDrive, including load booking and fraud prevention activities.

    • Assist with posting loads and managing load recoveries outside regular business hours.

    • Provide support for after-hours Carrier Compliance tasks.
