Locum - Radiology - MD/DO

Job Title: Locum Physician - Radiology

As a radiologist, you will contribute to a variety of sub-specialties while enjoying a conducive work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide remote coverage for radiology services.


• Work on a 7 on 7 off rotation schedule, including swing and overnight shifts.


• Interpret and analyze medical imaging in the following modalities: XR, CT, MR, US, NM.


• Handle daily volume expectations of 90-100 cases per 8-hour shift.


• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system effectively.


• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.


• Read and interpret images for sub-specialty cases, including ER, MSK, Neuro, and Nuclear Medicine.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Radiology [REQUIRED]


• Active Maryland Medical License [REQUIRED]


• DEA Registration [REQUIRED]


• Must be licensed or willing to obtain licensure in at least 1-2 of the following states: PA, OH, NC, FL [REQUIRED]


• A Self-Query NPDB report, dated within the last 30 days, is mandatory at the time of offer [REQUIRED]

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must hold an active MD License.


• Board Certification in Radiology is required.


• DEA registration must be current.


• Licensure in at least one additional state (PA, OH, NC, FL) is required or willingness to obtain.
