This role is a leadership position responsible for defining and executing the global strategy for end-user computing, including Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Mac management, and VDI environments. The Manager, End User Computing will combine technical expertise with people management to deliver secure, automated, and seamless digital workplace experiences. You will collaborate across IT, security, HR, and business teams to implement zero-touch automation, optimize operational workflows, and support a flexible global workforce. This position requires a hands-on, results-driven leader who can align technology with business objectives while developing high-performing teams. The role is ideal for professionals with deep experience in enterprise systems, endpoint management, and automation who thrive in complex, collaborative environments.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and mentor a global team of engineers to deliver high-performing identity and endpoint services
- Administer and optimize the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and associated collaboration tools
- Partner with Security Operations to implement Zero Trust principles, Conditional Access, and Defender integration
- Design and deploy end-to-end employee lifecycle automations integrated with HRIS systems to support seamless onboarding/offboarding
- Oversee Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM), and Apple macOS/iOS management via Jamf
- Lead the strategy and delivery of VDI solutions such as Azure Virtual Desktop/Windows 365 for a flexible workforce
- Drive license optimization, patch compliance, and standardized hardware/software configurations
- Define and track KPIs/SLAs while acting as a technical escalation point and ensuring root-cause resolution for recurring incidents
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and training programs for IT staff and end-users
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years managing M365, Intune, and identity platforms in an enterprise environment
- Proven leadership experience managing teams, budgets, and enterprise workplace solutions
- Deep technical mastery of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Defender Suite, and Autopilot
- Experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM), co-management strategies, and Apple enterprise management (Jamf Pro, Apple Business Manager)
- Proficiency in VDI platforms and Windows environments
- Expert-level scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Graph API integrations)
- Strong collaboration, communication, and decision-making skills; able to translate technical complexity into business value
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO27001), ITIL, and enterprise IT operations concepts
- Highly organized with focus on accountability, service quality, and continuous learning
- Preferred: Microsoft Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert or Jamf Certified Admin
