Job Description - Manager, Provider Experience (2)

Location: Remote – candidates must reside in North Carolina

Position Purpose: Reporting to the Senior Director, Provider Experience, the Manager, Provider Experience will lead, oversee and direct all day-to-day functions including the establishment of team priorities and performance expectations. The Manager, Provider Experience, will work closely with their counterparts, Supervisory team(s) and the Sr. Director to ensure and promote cross-team collaboration and communication both internal to CCHN and external to Provider(s). As a key member of the Provider Experience Team the Manager will work to ensure the continued evolution, development, and global support of this Provider Lead Entity Network (PLE) and will actively work to promote the PLE culture both internal and external to the organization. The Manager will be proactive, organized, detail oriented, and work collaboratively l with all levels within the organization. The Manager will execute in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively collaborate and partner with all levels of staff and management throughout the Provider Experience Team and CCHN.

  • Cultivate a high performance culture designed around collaboration, feedback, motivation, customer service and accountability.

  • The Manager will take lead in the oversight of CINs and Key Stakeholder practices in addition to supporting the Health Plan with projects as needed.

  • Work with Supervisory Team to develop procedures and practices for accomplishing assigned work function objectives to ensure both regulatory and company standards.

  • Work with the Sr. Director in the creative development, implementation, and monitoring of Provider Experience policies, procedures, and incentive programs to ensure alignment with both short and long-term organizational objectives for all lines of business.

  • The Manager will work toward the development and implementation of performance measurement matrix and tools to support, track and report on individual and team performance.

  • Participate in the interview and hiring decisions made for all new hires.

  • Work with the Supervisory Team to ensure all Provider Experience team members are adequately trained in their areas of responsibility and assignment.

  • Work with the Supervisory team in the development of process improvement plans as needed.

  • Work with the Sr. Director to ensure both individual and team needs related to training, education, system support, and professional development are communicated.

  • Protect confidential and sensitive business information including but not limited to; Centene/NC firewall system compliance, HIPAA, any/all applicable CCHN partner information.

  • Perform other duties as delegated.

  • Travel as needed.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in a management role preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience with provider relations, network contracting, or Medicaid preferred.

  • Ability to work with data in commercially available and/or internally developed databases.

  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Organized and able to manage time and multiple priorities concurrently.
