Job Description - M&A Analyst

As an M&A Analyst at karpatkey, you'll drive strategic growth in the Web3 space. Your role involves identifying valuable acquisition targets in blockchain and DeFi, facilitating M&A transactions between DAOs and partners, and conducting market research and financial analysis. You'll contribute to M&A strategy, develop our deal pipeline, support fundraising efforts, and build relationships with key Web3 stakeholders. Your work will directly impact karpatkey's growth and the broader DeFi ecosystem, blending M&A, investing, and cutting-edge technology.

Scout and analyse potential strategic projects for karpatkey;
Assist in facilitating M&A transactions between DAO partners;
Conduct thorough deal analysis and due diligence;
Support fundraising efforts for future investment rounds;
Collaborate closely with the M&A team and other departments.

Experience in M&A / Venture Capital (strong plus);
Strong analytical skills with experience in deal analysis;
Active involvement and investment experience in Web3 and DeFi;
Extensive network within the crypto ecosystem, including founders, DAOs, and institutional investors;
Excellent understanding of blockchain technology and crypto markets;
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, STEM, or related field;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
An entrepreneurial mindset and ability to take ownership of projects, identify problems, and formulate solutions independently;
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams;
Native/fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
