Position: Marketing Assistant
Overview: The Marketing Assistant supports daily marketing activities including analytics, content, email, CRM, and social media. This hands-on, execution-focused role suits someone with urgency, fast learning ability, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset within a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
• Analytics & Reporting
• Monitor website performance with Google Analytics (GA4): traffic, attribution, events, conversions
• Support SEO analysis via Google Search Console (queries, indexing, CTR)
• Assist with A/B testing for emails, landing pages, and ads
• Create and maintain basic reports and dashboards
• SEO & Content Operations
• Execute on-page SEO updates (metadata, headers, internal links, alt text)
• Review technical SEO items (redirects, broken links, page speed)
• Upload and manage content in CMS platforms or vendor portals
• Ensure accuracy, formatting, and SEO standards before publishing
• Email Marketing & CRM
• Build and deploy campaigns using Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign
• Support basic automation (welcome series, newsletters, re-engagement)
• Conduct A/B testing on subject lines; monitor deliverability
• Maintain CRM accuracy: tagging, pipelines, contact management, data hygiene
• Social Media & Creative Production
• Schedule and manage content via Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, or Meta Business Suite
• Create and adapt visuals in Canva (templates, graphics, basic videos)
• Support short-form video production (cuts, subtitles, multi-platform formats)
• Organize and manage brand assets with clear naming conventions
• Marketing Operations
• Maintain trackers and reports in Excel/Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, charts)
• Manage tasks and timelines in ClickUp, ensuring deadlines and quality
• Support cross-functional marketing projects
• Collaboration & File Management
• Organize files in Google Drive (permissions, version control)
• Record and share asynchronous updates and SOPs using Loom
• Follow documented processes and contribute to continuous improvement
Ideal Profile:
• 1–2 years of experience in marketing support or coordination
• Hands-on experience with GA4 and Google Search Console
• Proficiency with Mailchimp and/or ActiveCampaign
• Knowledge of Canva and social media scheduling tools
• Experience with CRM systems (ActiveCampaign preferred)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
