Job Description - Marketing Event & Lead Manager

Context of the Role This role is crucial in driving the company's growth by leading impactful industry events and supporting lead generation initiatives that enhance brand visibility, strengthen customer engagement, and open sales opportunities. The position requires a strategic mindset, hands-on execution, and close collaboration with both marketing and sales teams. Primary focus will be on event management, while lead generation and account-based marketing are strong secondary responsibilities.Event Management (First Priority) 
  • Research, identify, plan and execute key industry events including conferences, exhibitions, webinars, and customer events aligned with company goals 
  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, vendor negotiations, speaker and sponsorship coordination 
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders, including agencies, venues, and partners - Oversee event logistics, budgets, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up - Partner with sales teams to ensure seamless lead capture, follow-up strategies, and account engagement
Marketing Lead Management (Second Priority) 
  • Design and support strategic lead generation campaigns across digital channels (e.g. LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, email marketing) 
  • Utilize CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to manage and track leads - Implement lead scoring models to prioritize high-quality leads for sales follow-up 
  • Develop and execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies targeting high-potential accounts - Personalize messaging and campaigns for strategic accounts to increase conversion and strengthen relationships
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in energy, chemicals, industrial or SaaS/tech sectors - Proven experience in B2B events, logistics, sponsorships, and vendor coordination 
  • Experience with B2B lead generation, account-based marketing, and funnel optimization 
  • Proficient with HubSpot, Salesforce or similar tools 
  • Skilled in cross-functional coordination with internal teams and external partners 
  • Strong communicator with a confident presence 
  • Structured, multitasking, and organized working style 
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
