Medical Expert (Lab)

We are seeking experienced Lab Doctors (MDs or Fellows) to collaborate on an advanced AI research initiative with one of the world’s leading AI laboratories. In this role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to evaluate, refine, and test AI systems designed for medical reasoning and diagnostics. You will also contribute by creating diagnostic case studies and developing rubrics to assess response accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and document realistic diagnostic cases across diverse medical scenarios.
• Develop structured rubrics and scoring frameworks for evaluating AI-generated diagnostic responses.
• Review, analyze, and refine AI outputs for medical accuracy, completeness, and reasoning quality.
• Collaborate remotely with research teams to enhance model understanding of complex clinical data.
• Provide domain expertise to ensure adherence to medical best practices and diagnostic standards.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Practicing MD or current Fellow based in the United States.
• Minimum of 2+ years of medical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Interest in advancing AI applications in medicine and healthcare.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote, asynchronous research environment.

Project Details:

• Work Mode: Fully remote and asynchronous
• Commitment: 20–40 hours per week

Compensation & Contract Terms:

• Eligibility: U.S.-based applicants only
• Payments: Issued weekly via Stripe Connect
• Structure: Independent contractor engagement with clearly defined expectations
