Location: 986 Tibbetts Wick Rd, Girard, OH 44420 (Remote position after training).

Business Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

The responsibilities of our Medical Scribes include:

• Perform day-to-day administrative functions and general office duties including but not limited to word processing, copying, filing, faxing, answering phones and data entry.


• Accurately & thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the RN.


• Collect, organize, and catalog data for RN quality reporting system.


• Review/proof read for mistakes and inconsistencies in medical documentation to reduce errors.


• Demonstrate an ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy in accordance with governing HIPAA regulations.


• Adhere to all company policies on safety and security; maintains restricted areas safe by safeguarding keyless entry codes and computer system passwords in strict confidentiality.


• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).


• Must be literate and able to maintain simple records, in English.


• Must have a criminal background check.


• Two years Home Healthcare experience or equivalency.

Job Conditions:

• This is a desk position that involves sitting, standing, stooping, and walking as well as an inordinate amount of telephone communication.


• This position requires minimal lifting.


• One must be able to adequately hear on the telephone, with no more than an amplifier and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing, in English.
