Remote Mystery Shopper

We are seeking detail-oriented and dependable Remote Mystery Shoppers to evaluate customer service experiences for businesses across the United States.

In this role, you will complete assigned evaluations remotely by interacting with businesses through phone calls, email, live chat, websites, mobile applications, and other approved customer service channels. You will document your experience and provide accurate, objective feedback to help organizations improve customer satisfaction, service quality, and overall customer experience.

This flexible contract position is ideal for individuals seeking supplemental income and the ability to complete assignments from home based on their availability.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned mystery shopping and customer experience evaluations remotely.
• Interact with businesses through phone, email, live chat, websites, mobile applications, or other approved channels.
• Evaluate customer service based on established assignment guidelines.
• Assess professionalism, communication, product or service knowledge, responsiveness, and overall customer experience.
• Carefully follow assignment instructions and evaluation criteria.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding assignments and business information.
• Complete accurate and detailed online reports within the required deadlines.
• Provide objective observations and constructive feedback based on each assignment.
• Upload screenshots, receipts, or other documentation when required by the assignment.
• Maintain professional communication throughout all assignments.
• Notify the appropriate contact if an assignment cannot be completed as scheduled.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Basic computer and internet skills.
• Reliable internet connection.
• Access to a computer, smartphone, or other required technology.
• Ability to follow written instructions accurately.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet assignment deadlines.
• Previous mystery shopping, market research, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus but not required.

Employment Type

Contract – Part-Time

Assignments and hours may vary depending on business needs and available projects. This position does not guarantee a minimum number of assignments or hours.

Compensation

$20.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on the type, complexity, and requirements of the assignment.

Additional incentives or flat-rate compensation may be offered for certain specialized assignments. Compensation terms will be disclosed before an assignment is accepted.
